However, there is a sternly worded comment I will make in regards to worldwide changes due to a recent anti-creative, hypocritical movement.TL;DR: The new UK regulation is a fucking joke, and now I have to use a silver tongue because for some reason a fictional character is--and will be--offensive to the people in charge regardless of how they appear.The really boring and nonsensical, but longer part is:
New UK regulations and payment processor censorship were introduced, which are both morally flawed and incredibly restrictive, being based on directives that have been put in place by the wrong people who do not understand that the internet is a free space for the world. Applying their totalitarian ideas does not achieve anything except undermine the fundamental reason that the internet exists; To communicate, create, document, educate, entertain, and simply make it possible for people to have a fun time with friends in a virtual environment.Not only have these new regulations not helped society in any way that governing bodies would like us to believe, but instead have--and are going to continue to--directly impede not only creative communities and forums of arts and games, but also the resources, materials, papers and the means to conduct commerce and support creators in their endeavours, ultimately damaging the livelihoods of literally everyone who uses the internet and preventing us the right of our freedom to have fun.Frankly put, anything that is "adult content" or "offensive", even when that medium is fiction and is disconnected from real life, can be outright restricted to everyone, even if it harms nobody. This has nothing to do with whether that content is legal or not, because creators' contents got censored or removed against our rights even when it did meet legal standards. It is just because someone got offended by others having fun on the internet and cannot--for some reason--simply avoid it for themselves and the people they are responsible for, proceed to blame others for their incompetence, and now think that sacrificing anonymity by posting your confidential details is a good idea to keep people safe on the internet.It is a terrible idea. Don't lie to yourself.Fight for our freedoms and right of free speech against the Online Safety Act: (https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/722903).
Do not be fooled, this regulation will spare nobody unless we unite as one. It threatens to silence adults by treating us like children. This threatens the lives and futures of everyone in the world.I apologise for that message, but this legitimately poses a lot of harm to everyone in the creative sector, especially upstart artists such as myself.

Commissions may become available in the future, and Ko-Fi remains available for supporters, but platforms such as Patreon or Fanbox, both of which I held as possible future paths, is now improbable for the now foreseeable future.

SECTION 1
Content Availability and Restrictions

What I can draw:

  • Original Characters

  • Kemonomimis (human with animal features)

  • Fan Art

  • Gijinka (objects depicted as humanoids)

  • Ecchi (see questionable/NSFW criteria below)

What I do not draw (non-exhaustive):

  • NSFL themes

  • Furries

  • Political stuff

  • ...things that I wouldn't dream of

  • ...uh, do I have to write everything down here?

Ecchi/NSFW stuff:
I don't oppose this format, but in general this is a lot harder to do than it seems, and not just for artistic reasons.
Make sure you are legally able to request this as I cannot take responsibility for breaches of law in your country.

SECTION 2
Communication, Handling and Payment

Send a direct message on any platforms linked via this carrd, or an email to my service account.
Discord is also available, provided on request for commissions and through other circumstances.

Clearly communicate the details of your commission. A guideline for what you might explain and request is as follows:

  • Required: The type of commission (e.g. soft cel full-body)

  • Required: Characters and references (absence of references for own characters will add additional fees)

  • Backgrounds

  • Sketches / rough designs

  • Commercial use cases (if any)

IMPORTANT: If you are intending to sell on the commissioned art, you MUST provide the use cases.
This is to legitimise your commercial activity and prevent any issues from arising from plagiarism and theft etc.

Availability operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. Check the Trello waiting list for currently available slots.Design complexity, volume of work, and external factors such as (but not limited to) life events, other work situations and the artist's wellbeing can variably influence how long it takes to finish the commission.

Payment for commission is handled through PayPal.
Ko-Fi may also be available through a commissions tab.Provide and confirm an email address to receive an invoice for the commission.
Please do not send payment before the invoice is sent to you.Typically, work will not commence until an upfront payment is received.
When in demand, the cut-off for payment is 24 hours, after which the commission may be dropped in place of another.

SECTION 3
Customer Services

While the commission is in progress, you may be contacted about work-in-progress updates.
You are entitled to make changes at these times if (non-exhaustive):

  • Sufficient reference material was provided which supplements the requested changes within reason.

  • Suggested changes will not force the artist to restart the process.

  • The purpose of the commission is generative, i.e. intended to create and design instead of working from existing characters and their references.

Equally, I will exercise right to refuse additional work and will operate based on what is both feasible and comfortable to execute within my ability.

SECTION 4
Usage Rights and Commercial Rights

NRiiyuu holds the full rights to the artwork created.
This may be posted on platforms including, but not limited to, Twitter, Pixiv, and Ko-Fi.Character designs, IPs and source materials used as reference, belong to their respective owners.Artwork is free for personal, non-monetary use.
Credit NRiiyuu correctly when reposting work.Modifying, copying or tracing the artwork, or using any of the artist's work in AI datasets, or creating and selling products containing the work in any form, or any other activity that directly contributes to monetary gain is strictly prohibited.
