> Backgrounds
> Sketches / rough designs
Section 3: Payment and Processes
Payment is handled through PayPal.
PayPal
If it is your first time commissioning, you will be asked to provide and confirm an email address to which an invoice will be sent to you. Previous commissioners will have their existing email address confirmed, unless it has changed since then.
Please do not send a payment outside of the invoice as your funds cannot be returned to you.Typically the work will not commence until an upfront payment is received. If commissions are in demand, you will have up to 24 hours to pay the cost of the invoice, after which it may be dropped in place of another.
Availability of commissions normally operate on a first-come-first-serve basis. Check the Trello waiting list to view currently available commission slots. If there are no slots available, you can still contact me to be added to a waiting list.Refunds are only issued under circumstances that the artist feels unable to complete the commission.Unless a deadline is assigned, please be patient while the commission is worked on. Design complexity, volume of work, and external factors such as (but not limited to) life events, other work situations and the artist's wellbeing can variably influence how long it takes to finish the commission.Updates will be provided when significant progress is made, or if design or technical issues arises.
Section 4: Customer Services
You are entitled to changes at any point of the commission, but note that large changes can significantly increase the total workload. NRii requires you to provide necessary feedback when progress updates are given to you.As such, the artist will reserve the right to refuse carrying out significantly large design changes after completion. You can reacquire previously commissioned work free of charge. You may be required to confirm your social tag and PayPal invoice reference tied to the commission.
Section 5: Usage Rights
By default, NRiiyuu holds the full rights to the artwork created. The work may be posted on platforms including, but not limited to, Twitter, Pixiv, Patreon, Gumroad etc.The client retains credit as the owner of the IP and the characters associated (if applicable and are original creations).Providing credit is strongly encouraged when reposting work. User tags can be found in Section 2, or otherwise referred to as: NRii or NRiiyuuThe client and other audiences and consumers may use the artwork for personal use, but are prohibited from modifying, copying or tracing the artwork, or using any of the artist's work in AI datasets, or creating and selling products containing the work in any form, or any other activity that directly contributes to monetary gain.
For commercial usage rights, additional charges must be paid. See below for a rough guideline.
Section 6: Commercial Uses and Fees
Watermarks are applied by default, containing the artist credit: NRiiyuu.Using commissioned artwork for sales requires a commercial fee to be paid that typically scales based on the value of the commission with the use case in commerce. Other reasons can vary, such as the need to conform to a specific and strict format that can potentially be difficult to work with.Contact Twitter @NRiiyuu or [email protected] in case of business or general queries.
